I have been looking forward to blogging Jessica and Cameron’s wedding for awhile now. Once you see the photos you will totally understand! They are stunning. But you may notice a few things missing. The two biggest being the dress and hair and make up pictures. Dont’ worry, I didn’t forget to do those. There was a slight “problem” that changed the entire timeline of the day. While we were getting lunch and driving over to the venue I got a phone call from one of the bridesmaids. The sprinklers Jessica’s hotel room had gone off and in turn flooding the room, turning her gorgeous dress BLACK, completely soaking Jessica from head to toe. It was a disaster to say the least. We quickly made our way back to the hotel. We stopped off at our room first (thank goodness we did) only find our room had started flooding as well. The hotel manager was in our room when we got there and he quickly opened up another free room and we had to pack up everything and get it all out of there before it got ruined! After changing rooms we headed up to the next floor to find Jessica, Cameron, and the rest of the bridal party. We gathered up what we could (shoes, jewelry, etc…) and took it with us over to Boojum Tree. Jessica stayed at the hotel for hair and makeup again and Amina (the amazing coordinator) got the dress to the hotel dry cleaners to see if there was anything they could do. She also called around to the brial shops in Phoenix and was able to find a size 2 dress at one, which is a miracle on it’s own because we all know size 2 dresses are NOT used for sample try on dresses! They delivered the dress to the hotel just as the dry cleaner came back up with a white dress! A wet but WHITE wedding dress!!! Amazing. The brial party made their way over to Boojum Tree so we could get started. We had about 30 minutes to get her dressed and do the first look before the ceremony started. It was an emotional first look to say the least. 🙂 The hour after the ceremony was slightly crazy. Getting all the formal pictures done in 1 hour when you normally get close to 3 is a bit stressful but we made it happen! I am so proud of how well Jessica and Cameron and all the family handled the day and the craziness that ensued. It took a team to get this back on track and everyone was just amazing.
Please enjoy Jessica and Cameron’s stunning wedding day! Vendor information to follow soon.
