Molly and Russell had spent the bulk of their engagement living on opposite ends of the country. They waited months for their wedding day so they would no longer have to live apart. The wedding was set to be at the Empire Mines State Park in Grass Valley. It was a beautiful day filled with blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Being that the wedding was in the middle of June the heat wasn’t really cutting us a break. IT. WAS. HOT. Plain and simple. Fortunately the ceremony wasn’t until 6:30pm which allowed for a little bit of time to cool off. The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in downtown Grass Valley. It was a dessert reception and boy was there a lot of sugar. Tons of cookies, brownies, a chocolate fountain, fruit, cake, mini key lime pies, and the list could go on and on. Everything was amazing!!!
Congratulations Molly and Russell. I wish you the best in your new life as husband and wife!

What a beautiful wedding with such cute ideas. I love the unique touches the couple used with thier shoes…the red shoes really pop. Great shots and editing Aimee. 🙂
