Ryan & Melissa – Married at Cory’s Country Inn – Chico, Ca

02.01.12

I spent my college years in Chico and there is always a part of me that will forever miss that town.  If you’ve lived in Chico for any length of time you will understand.  I was so excited to be able return to Chico to photograph our friends wedding at Cory’s Country Inn.  It’s not often that I can say I have known the couple since the night they met.  :-)

As you will see this venue is simply gorgeous.  The couple is gorgeous and celebrating with friends is priceless.  The secret garden, the pasture with the white fence and orchards, and the giant  dining/reception area.  I loved everything about this wedding.  Ryan and Melissa chose to cut a cake but serve the guest dessert in the form of a smores’s bar instead.  Such a fun idea and when the marshmellows are sugar free that makes them even better!  Make sure to check out all the yummy flavors!  A big thanks to Amy from Simply W Photography for second shooting for me!

I can’t forget to mention the wedding party…..oh man were they a blast to work with.  As you will see they were a photographers dream and some of the shots are to die for hilarious.

Lauren & Scott – Married at The Brazilian Room

01.31.12

This was my first time at the Brazilian Room and it did not disappoint.  The Brazilian Room is located in Tilden Park in Berkeley and I love that it’s off the beaten path in the eucalyptus trees.  Add in some fog and it made for a perfectly romantic day.  The food was amazing, some of the best I had at a wedding this year!   I had Trizza of Trizza Grantham Photography with me again and I can not thank her enough for all her help!

Sacramento Wedding Photographer - Amy you covered all the moments and details of this wedding beautifully! I love the blue dresses against the green foliage backdrop and especially love the walking shot of the couple in front of the cottage. :) Heather

2012 Mini Session Announcement

01.16.12

Family mini sessions have been announced! Yes it’s 10 months out BUT since I am only photographing families once a year I figured I’d give you all plenty of notice as to when it would be. The 6 spots that are open are in the afternoon. If more than 6 want to book then I will open up the morning times and possibly another day, but it just depends on the wedding season. As of now I have 9 fall weddings with more inquiries coming in, so I will be plenty busy as it is. Should I get an inquiry and booking before anyone books a mini session then the date will change.:-) The mini sessions are for family and children sessions and are not for engagements or newborns.  All photos will be ready by December 1, 2012.
